Integrative Veterinary Medicine for Pets
As the founder of MASH, our team combines alternative and conventional veterinary medicine to provide comprehensive care for pets. With over 40 years of experience in integrative veterinary medicine, Dr. Margo Roman has developed protocols that synergize traditional diagnostics with advanced therapies like ozone treatment and microbiome restoration. Our practice focuses on strengthening pets' immune systems through nutrition, homeopathy, and cutting-edge modalities like fecal transplants. We maintain strict quality standards for donor microbiome material, ensuring safety through rigorous screening processes. Our facility offers specialized treatments for chronic conditions including Lyme disease and cancer, using hyperbaric oxygen therapy and ultraviolet blood irradiation. As pioneers in integrative veterinary care, we train other practitioners through our veterinary ozone course and MBRT certification program. Our compassionate end-of-life care options demonstrate our commitment to treating pets as family members throughout their entire lives. We consistently incorporate holistic approaches into routine care, including vaccination minimization strategies supported by antibody titer testing. Our customized treatment plans reflect our philosophy that optimal pet health requires balancing mind, body, and spirit.

Ozone Therapy
Our ozone therapy improves tissue oxygenation and reduces inflammation in pets. This treatment effectively addresses bacterial infections, viral diseases, and chronic conditions like Lyme disease. We administer ozone through various methods including saline infusions and localized gas therapy, adapting our approach to each patient's needs while maintaining strict safety protocols.
Microbiome Restoration
MBRT therapy restores healthy gut bacteria in pets through carefully screened donor material. We use oral capsules or enemas to reintroduce beneficial microbes for immune system support. Our program includes detailed donor screening for diet, vaccination history, and parasite testing to ensure optimal treatment outcomes for pets with microbiome imbalances.
Hyperbaric Oxygen
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy increases tissue oxygenation for pets with ischemic conditions. Patients receive treatment in specialized chambers that enhance plasma oxygen levels. This therapy promotes wound healing, reduces inflammation, and supports recovery from various medical conditions through controlled oxygen exposure administered by our trained veterinary specialists.
Homeopathy
We apply homeopathic principles based on the 'like cures like' concept for veterinary care. Our treatment protocols use highly diluted natural substances to stimulate healing responses in pets. This approach addresses acute and chronic conditions through personalized remedy selection following comprehensive patient assessment and symptom analysis.
Ultraviolet Therapy
Our ultraviolet blood irradiation therapy combines ozone with photonic stimulation to enhance immune function. This treatment involves blood-ozone mixing followed by UV light exposure to activate cellular healing mechanisms. We use this advanced protocol for managing infections, cancer support, and improving oxygen utilization in pets with chronic health challenges.

My girlfriend said the process to get our two dogs' shots was easy (wait in your car in line). Stars for that. She wasn't a fan of how roughly they handled our 50 lb tripod to get him up the stairs into their trailer though. He is actually very easy to lift if you do it correctly (we do it twice a day to carry him down the stairs) but they refused to let her help and basically dragged him up the steep staircase.
We are on the border of Pinal & Maricopa Counties, hence why we ended up at MASH - it was close and quick. But 2 months later we are getting notices from Maricopa County that they want $22 each for dog license fees. So basically they ratted us out to the county for owning dogs and being responsible enough to get their rabies shots. So yeah, I don't think we'll be using them again and will stick to our regular vet.

Very quick and very reasonable. For vaccines you just show up on the scheduled day and get in line like a drive through. It's super simple

I was pleasantly surprised at how quick his neutering took. He is a nervous barker so maybe they selected him to be first to get him in and out. From drop off until I received a call that he is done was 2 hours. MASHvet offers an affordable service with professional quality. Thanks for taking good care of my pup. I will recommend them to others.

We had 2 doxies fixed a few years back and everything was great. One pup had a small complication the next day and they had me bring him and got him all set again.

A great place to get you pet fixed. Some of the staff could be a little nicer, but Tracy is always nice. They have really great prices for people who need to care for their pets, but are on a budget due to life circumstances.
